I am running a blog with eleven40-pro theme and I am very happy with it. The only limitation I face is to show my content at homepage like a magazine.

Is it possible to display few posts from few selected category? The post may not contain excerpts, only post title will be fine.

You could take the Magazine front-page.php and use it on Eleven40 Pro

magazine-home
home-top
home-middle
home-bottom

Find all the CSS for the above classes ( using Notepad++ search and find ) and move it to the Eleven40 Pro child themes style.css file

1 hour job max.
