I want the menu on the Showcase Pro Theme to behave like the on Altitude so that it's transparent when the page loads but has a solid background after you scroll. Is there a tutorial for this? I'm happy to buy both themes if it's a matter of copy-and-pasting code from Altitude. Thanks in advance!

If you are using Chrome > visit the Altitude demo > right click - inspect > observe the css/js used to create the effect > copy it! > paste it into your Showcase Pro Theme (you will need some fiddling to make it look good!).

No need to buy two themes 🙂

I was curious about the same thing for the Showcase theme. Did you get it to work?

I also asked the developer about it. I got the feeling he isn't a fan of a sticky menu.

Some designers certainly argue a sticky menu is a distraction from the page content. It also takes up space on a screen (a bigger issue for people viewing on a small non-mobile screens).

But nevertheless, they are commonplace and I tend to like a sticky menu but I'm not married to the idea.
