    Trying to find the magic CSS button to change the background on the Magazine theme header.

    I thought it might be the .wrap property but had no effect.

    Thanks in Advance

    Ok, I might need some clarity. Are you referring to the black areas above and below your purple header image? The top black space is your nav menu - color controlled here:
    #nav {
    background-color: #333;
    clear: both;
    overflow: hidden;

    And below is another menu.

    I was referring to the background color of the header where the "Jareeda" graphic sits.

    Not the upper or lower nav.

    Oh, so you want to kill the purple. That's an image. You can either access your theme's image files through cpanel and replace that with another image or while in your admin just upload an image then paste the path in between the parenthesis of (images/wrap.png)
    #wrap {
    background: url(images/wrap.png) repeat-x;
    margin: 0 auto;
    }

    Or...replace the above code with:

    #wrap {
    background: #000;
    margin: 0 auto;
    }

    Ok it gets rather stranger and though I'm getting results it makes me go hum?

    I did as you suggested and made the following change

    #wrap {
    background: #fff;
    margin: 0 auto;
    }

    But now though I removed the wrap.png that was there before It is now showing my custom wrap.png.

    Way confused. This is what  I wanted all along so why if I remove reference to wrap.png does it now display it.

    Something else going on.

    Has to be a server side caching issue. I think  you can close this.

    Thanks for your help.
