    Hi friends!
I am new to wordpress and updating my blog using the Magazine Pro theme. Quick questions…how do I change the color of the "Home/Middle/Bottom/Siderbar/" headers? By default they are black with white lettering.

I would like to have it white (or transparent or light gray) with black lettering? (inspiration: http://verilymag.com)

Also I would like to make the footer light gray with black lettering.
Thanks so much for any help with this. I am 3 strands away from pulling all my hair out 🙁

p.s. Is it back to make changes directly from Appearance-->editor? I downloaded TextWrangler but have no idea what I am doing...

You need to get a web inspector like Firebug to show you which piece of css you need to modify. This is a very easy fix if you know a little css. Unless your theme comes with color options, it is down to Appearance -editor. If you use Text-Wrangler then you would need to download the css file, modify it locally and then upload it. This is why a web inspector is a valuable tool because you can effect the changes online visually. You then have to make the real modification in the css file.
