I'm running the old Magazine theme (customized) and latest versions of WP and Genesis.

Our blog posts show up on a category archive page (see here - http://coolwordclub.com/category/cwc-blog/). I cannot for the life of me figure out how to change it so that the entire post shows up, not just the first 50 words or so.

Also, our RSS feed seems to pull from there and so our AWeber email blog broadcasts also only show the truncated version of the post.

I need to keep the same format but have the whole post show on the blog archive page.

Any suggestions? I've been tearing my hair out trying to figure this out!

You can use the Genesis > Theme Settings > Content Archives however these options will affect any blog listings page, including archive, author, blog, category, search, and tag pages.

If you only want to effect the nlog page listings, you'll need a custom blog page template.

Using Genesis > Theme Settings > Content Archives doesn't work. It's currently set to 'Display post content' without a featured image. It works but... also displays the [Read more...] which I don't want, and which I can't seem to turn off. Maybe that's the problem?

When I use -1 it reverts back to 0 (i.e., won't allow me to put in -1) and shows an excerpt with all the formatting and the image removed... Is there some trick to using -1?

That's what I'm currently using - and that does NOT work.

    Here's the feed: coolwordclub.com/feed

As you can see, in spite of having the correct settings to display post content, it only shows the excerpt, even in the <content:encoded> area.

Well, as it turns out it's an outdated WishList Member plugin that isn't playing nice with the new versions of WP and/or Genesis... I'd tried disabling all plugins and nothing had changed but now, apparently, I've changed something that has made a difference and when I disable the WLM plugin, the full posts show on the archive page and in the RSS feed. Ugh. Anyway, thanks for trying to help!!
