    Hi,

    I'm trying to speed up my page load by removing unnecessary javascript files/deferring the loading of necessary javascript files. My Magazine Pro theme came with a /entry-date.js file:

    jQuery(function( $ ){

        // add js body class
        $('body').addClass('js');

        // find time for each entry and move it inside the image link
        $('.home-middle article, .home-top article').each(function(){
            var $time = $(this).find('.entry-time');

            $(this).find('a.alignleft, a.alignnone, a.alignright').append($time);

        });

    });

    Can someone please tell me the purpose of this file? Can I delete it without consequences?

    If you look at the Magazine demo, the widgetized homepage displays dates on top of the featured images - I believe entry-date.js is moving the date on those posts. Since you aren't using the homepage template, you should be able to remove that file, though you should always keep a copy of it just in case something else breaks and you need to add it back. Hope that helps!

    Awesome, thank you! I deleted it and cannot detect any issues with the file being missing.

    I have deleted magazine-pro/js/entry-date.js. The site works fine, but I now have a new 'problem' :

    The following requests are returning 404/410 responses. Either fix the broken links, or remove the references to the non-existent resources. (magazine-pro/js/entry-date.js)

    Do someone know how/where can I delete the requests?
