    Hi,

I've recently used the Magazine Pro theme on a magazine style site and I'm very happy with it. I like it so much that I was looking to use it on my personal blog as well. However, I don't particularly want the magazine style homepage, rather I'd like the blog page from the magazine theme as the home/landing page.

In previous themes I have used that would simply be a matter changing the settings under the "Reading" tab in the WordPress settings. However this isn't working.

Can anyone point me in the direction of how to do this, or am I making a mistake/missing something somewhere?

    Thanks

I actually think I just figured this out. I deleted the front-page.php file. Is this the correct option as I don't want that front page formatting?
