Hey everyone, I run a cricket website using Genesis/News Pro theme - https://cricketyorkshire.com.

I'd like to improve the search engine optimisation of the homepage. There are obviously plenty of factors to this but one is its design/keyword density.

I only have 250 words on it so it probably doesn't help the SEO.

Any feedback/resources on improving SEO with a Genesis theme would be very useful. I don't know how much the design in my case is limiting how it ranks or not.

Does anyone know of other websites built using News Pro (like a showcase gallery?)

    Thanks for your time, John.

Google Pagespeed Insights will tell you what you need to work on - https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fcricketyorkshire.com%2F. Start there. You're using Yoast SEO. Visit their website for tips on how to accomplish this as well.

Thanks Anita, I've used Google page Speed, GT Matrix and Pingdom before but the challenge is actually carrying out that technical work in-house. I'll revisit Yoast's latest thinking too.
