Hello. I would like to learn best practices about logo placement and how to do it. I am not a coder. With direction, I am open to use code. I'd prefer an easier solution though.

We are using Magazine Pro on http://www.cohousingresearchnetwork.org. A project which is about to get a facelift with a searchable bibliography database.

    Anyhow...
    1) Where are best locations to put a logo so that it appears on all pages?
    2) How do I get it there?
    3) Happy to read and learn, and being new still, I would welcome some pointers

I look forward to hearing from you.
    Cheers
    Neil

I think the best place is to place logo before "ABOUT" page in header

If you add a logo to a Genesis child theme the normal way using the settings on the Appearance menu, the logo is placed at the left in the site header. Some themes place the logo in the center. The site header appears at the top of every page on your site.

If you want the logo placed somewhere other than the child theme's default, you need custom code.

Best practice for logo placement, btw, is whatever your eye perceives as aesthetically pleasing.

    hello,
    I have a similar question.
I would like to move the logo of my website from center to the left, put on the center 3 categories link and on the right side the search widget.
In addiction to that I would like to put an advertise before the header.

How can i proceed to make everything works?

    My website is http://www.leguidefacili.it

    Thank you in advance!
