    I've looked at 30 posts and each situation seems to be unique.

    How do I add an image logo to the Decor theme?

    I assume there is no setting for this, so it looks like I'll have to do it via CSS.

    I am working with this theme right now for a client. You are right, there are different ways to do it. Here's one way without using a plugin:

    Look for this CSS:

    .header-image #title-area, .header-image #title, .header-image #title a {
        display: block;
        float: left;
        min-height: 140px;
        overflow: hidden;
        padding: 0;
        text-indent: -9999px;
        width: 400px;
    }

    Add to that:

    background-image: url (YOUR URL OF YOUR LOGO);

    You may need to add in scrolling or adjust the width or height to accommodate your own logo. You may also need to make an adjustment to the margin in the Title area also:

    #title-area {
        float: left;
        margin: 25px 0 0;
        overflow: visible;
        padding: 0;
        width: 400px;
    }
