link mailchimp to button

Hi,
I'm using the Altitude theme and want to have a button on the front page that will lead to mail chimp for emails. I have the button set up but am not quite sure how to link it to something from Mailchimp that would gather the email. What code should I use?

Have you tried the Genesis eNews extended plugin which enables you to connect to MC?

Grab the link from MC and add it to HTML like this:

It said that I had a response from you....but now I don't see anything?

Yes, it should come through at some stage. I tried different links because i embedded HTML using GIthub gists which is a bit tricky and the system may have detected it as possible spam so the moderator has to approve it.

Basically i just added the button class to the link like this:

class="button"

and linked it to MC's form.

I still don't see the code. Is there a form on MC that I can link to? It seems like they're all for embedding into a site.
