My theme is fully widgetized and I would love to have next page/previous page navigation. I asked a friend who is more knowledgeable about the guts of these things than I am - she says my main page is all widgets so there's no loop.
However, I have a friend who's theme is also widgetized and she has next page navigation.
I feel like I'm missing something. But that's ok I always feel like I'm missing something when it comes to figuring these things out.

Use Genesis Featured Widget Amplified plugin instead of stand Featured Posts Widget to get option to navigate to more posts. http://wordpress.org/plugins/genesis-featured-widget-amplified/

Thank you for your response. I installed and tried this but am not getting the desired results. I am wanting at the bottom of my homepage, an arrow on the right side that says next page, and then when you click it, you go to the next page in which there is now the option to go on to the next page, or return to the previous page. This widget is not allowing me to do this.

Again, I am constantly learining and might be missing something.

    Thank you for your help.

If you want next and previous buttons (or page 1, 2, 3...) buttons, then you need to switch to blog page mode. Current theme has widgets all over without standard blog loop. Two options, either switch to usual blog layout or use theme that have blog layout with few widget areas at top.
