    Hello everyone,

I think about purchasing the Genesis framework together with the Lifestyle pro theme.

But I would like the header and footer to have infinite width (the body´s width should remain fixed), like on this blog (not made with wordpress):

    http://www.justonewayticket.com/

It is possible to change the Lifestyle pro theme accordingly, by adding repeating one colour backround images to the header and footer, right?

Thank you in advance for a brief feedback.

    Best regards,
    German dude

    Hi G.D.:

    Short Answer: yes.
(for official answers, contact StudioPress pre-sales support: http://www.studiopress.com/contact)

But not quite in the way you mention. There are some structural changes required - these have been covered in proven tutorials such as:

Moving Footer widgets and Footer outside Site Container in Genesis:

Move Header Above the Wrap with Structural Action Hooks:

Some CSS changes in your stylesheet would also be recommended, but that will depend on the overall design of your site.
