    Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to add a header image that fills up the entire width of the theme (I'm not sure why this isn't a standard option). Anyway, I found some instructions here but they are not clear. Can someone help me?

    http://sridharkatakam.com/add-wide-header-lifestyle-pro/

    I added the specified code to functions.php but then the instructions say to "Replace the image URL in line 8 with that of your desired header. Make it 1068px wide. The sample image used in this tutorial is 1068 x 186." I do not see any image URL on line 8 (or anywhere else) in the functions.php file. I see the image size under the add_theme_support section. Is that where I change the image size to 1068x170?

    Is there something I'm missing? Any help appreciated.

    What Sridhar is referring to and what you will want to do is change the image URL in the lines of code that he wrote. This is the code you will input in your functions.php (the same code he wrote in his article) but where it says ADD_YOUR_IMAGE_URL_HERE, you will add your image URL.

    '//* Remove the default header
    remove_action( 'genesis_header', 'genesis_do_header' );

    //* Add custom header
    add_action( 'genesis_header', 'sk_do_header' );
    function sk_do_header() {

    echo '<img src="ADD_YOUR_IMAGE_URL_HERE" />';

    }'
