    Hi All,

Please try to view thecompressioncloset.com on a mobile device or a small width window on your computer. Notice how the text and main picture are not responsive once it hits a certain with and then it just gets stuck. Most of this content was created in widgets so I'm wondering if they disregard the css styling of genesis? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Seth

When you add custom content to widgets, you may also need to add custom CSS for Media Queries to style your content so it displays the way you want on different sized screens.

Thanks for quick response as always Brad! I was actually thinking about adding classes to the widgets and fixing it that way, but I feel like it is such poor practice to even be loading content on the front page with widgets. Should I just hard code the content into the front-page.php as it will remain static, or is there an even better practice?

If you are more comfortable hard coding into a file then it's fine. You'll still need to add CSS for Media Queries unless you use column classes.

No problem using widgets in front page.

    Hi Brad,

So after trying to tweak the settings with no luck I'm wondering what I actually need to to keep the text within the screen after it gets below 350-400px. Any ideas?

    Thanks!

Figured it out! There was a float:left in the class of that main section and it was screwing it up when it got down to that small of a screen. I created a media query and put in float:none and fixed!
