    Hi all,

We offer free downloads on the site and there are issues since we moved to Genesis (with Outreach theme). It's looking for a 'download.php' file in a folder called 'includes' (which we had to copy from before the move), and many have issues now downloading the files. This is what the link looks like now when I hover over it on the page:

    http://www.musicmonday.ca/wp-content/themes/genesis/includes/download.php?file=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.musicmonday.ca%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2013%2F04%2FISS-Is-Somebody-Singing-Barbershop.pdf

However, when we set it up from within the admin panel, the link looks like this:

    http://www.musicmonday.ca/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/ISS-Is-Somebody-Singing-Barbershop.pdf

As you can see, in addition to the added whole download.php string, all the hyphens in the file name have been automatically converted to %2.

Seen this before anyone? How can we fix this? The second link is what I'd except it to look like on the page itself.

    Thank you in advance,

    Regards,

    Andre

What shopping cart plugin are you using for the downloads?

    Hi,

We are not selling them, these are free download, so there are no carts involved. We decided to bypass Genesis and rebuild the page with cleaning up the CSS from all those added links. So this will remain a mystery...

    Thank you Anita!

Is it just a link that you add through your Media? Or is this a program such as Email Before Download to capture email addresses?
