I am using 'Going Green' child theme to re-design a website and I really love the way the featured image displays on the blog template.
BUT is it possible to customise the theme so the same can be applied to a PAGE and not just the posts?
Is there a piece of custom css I could add that would do this?
Or it something more tricky that has to be done in the function.php file?

Any advice would be gratefully received.

You can change the conditional tag to :

    is_singular(array( 'page','post' ) ) )

Many thanks for your advice, Braddalto.

Unfortunately, I am not very knowledgeable with regards PHP. Could I just ask how to change this and on which file; is it the functions.php or theme-defaults.php (lib/theme-defaults.php)?

I am using the default template for all my pages. Thank you.

Find the code in the functions.php file which includes genesis_get_image and add the conditional tag after the function name.

See this code snippet as a example of how to add the tag to your code.

Hello again. I have reloaded the original functions.php using FTP and happy to say, I have my site back. Thanks for your advice, but I think I'd be safer asking a PHP programmer to do this, I don't trust myself!
    All the best.
