    My blog uses the Daisy Pro theme. I would like to create a landing page for a book I have written. I would like that landing page to look like the home page of the Showcase theme. Is that possible?

    Yes.

    Copy the front page file from the showcase theme, rename the file and add a page template header.

    Then you'll need to search the style sheet for all the classes used in the front page file and add the CSS rules to your theme style.css file.
