ParticipantI've got a problem with one of my sites where the text is completely invisible in the edit mode for one page. This page: http://vadirectory.net/vadirectory/new-south-wales/ I'm using the education theme.
It views fine in the browser but in edit mode the text is completely invisible. You can't change from Visual to Text - it's just completely in Text mode and invisible. I have to highlight it to find the bit I want to edit - and then it's in code, not visual format at all.
Has anyone got any ideas why this is? I had it happen once before sometime ago and I had to recreate the page from scratch. Which is a problem because I've probably got 50 or so pages linked to it and I have to go and relink all the pages again.

ModeratorKathiemt - I get a 404 error when I attempt to access the page.
Is the issue with the page itself, or just editing the page? Do you have the same problem attempting to edit other pages? I'm just trying to clarify if the issue is with the visual editor.
If it's the visual editor, try this post:
... I installed the “Use Google Libraries” plugin, and then activated it (don’t forget to activate it, as it won’t activate automatically after installation).

ParticipantTry again - it is working. Might have been a temporary glitche. And no, it's only that page for editing. The site has over 500 pages and as far as I know, all the other pages are fine. I edit many of them and then have others responsible for their own pages.

MemberHi there,
Try changing the permalink, perhaps there's a duplicate? When I access the page from the main nav, instead of the link, I can get there and view the page fine. I 404 when I try the link. Access it from the nav, and try editing that page? I've had this issue before and it was resolved upon changing the permalink of one.

ParticipantI've installed and activated but unfortunately that hasn't fixed the problem 🙁
I looked at another page linked to that page and it's fine, both in visual and text but looking at this one page in edit mode, its still invisible.

MemberHave you tried editing the page that you're able to get to organically from the navigation menu, the one with the same permalink that doesn't 404?

ParticipantThat's really strange. http://vadirectory.net/vadirectory/new-south-wales/ definitely works. Or you can get there from the menu via the VADirectory/Australia/New South Wales.
Yes, I've tried editing the page having gone from the menu and into the page. Still invisible text. I've done searches at wordpress.org now and there are other people reporting similar problem. One of them mentioned they were using a Genesis theme but others didn't say what theme they were using. Some found reuploading wp-includes helps but it didn't for me. Others have mentioned a tinymce plugin but I don't have that either. It's a mystery.
