I'm using the Team Page template in Infinity Pro, as seen here.
To populate the Team page you need to create a child page for each person and then choose the 'Team' page as a parent.
    So far so good.
What if you want to create multiple Teams and some team members belong to more than one team?
EG you could create different templates for Sales Team, Marketing Team, and Design Team. John Doe might belong to both the Marketing and Design teams and you would want him to appear on both pages. However on John Doe's individual page you can only choose one parent EITHER Marketing OR Design.
In this scenario how could you add John Doe to multiple Team pages?
Thanks in advance for any ideas!

If it were me and I had to do this, I would create a CPT called Teams with a team category archive. This way each team category has it's own URL. As Infinity Pro is set up using pages, you would need to copy the team template several times renaming them to Sales, Marketing, etc. Then in the CSS, you'd need to make sure you created your CSS to associate with the new templates.

    Thank you Anita,

you would need to copy the team template several times renaming them to Sales, Marketing, etc.

I thought only one archive template could be used with a CPT, eg archive-teams.php in this case?
Is it possible to use a different archive page for each CPT category (sales, marketing..)?
    How is this done?

I have another question if you don't mind?

When you say to copy the team template to be used as the portfolio archive, can you literally just rename this template eg to archive-portfolio.php and it will produce the same output as the Team page?
OR do you need to make some changes to the template before it will work as an archive page?
When I tried using the Team page template as archive-portfolio.php, none of the custom field values appeared on the archive page.

You would need to updated each template to reflect the team names you have chosen. I assumed when you posted the question you already had some sort of knowledge in coding that up. Best response I can give now would be to use a CPT with a team. Here's a good example - https://css-tricks.com/creating-meet-team-page-wordpress/.

    Thank you Anita.
That css-tricks post shows how to create a custom template for a Page.
Can I use the same template for the CPT Archive page? (by naming it archive-teams.php)
