    On the front page I notice that h3 tags are being used for widget titles. I also notice there is an H2 tag for the screen reader text which is effectively pushed off screen.

    Is this good SEO? Normally we are taught to use meaning structure

    H1 -> H2 -> H3

    Why is the screen reader text for the main menu not in <p> tags and the front page widgets using H2. I don't see how telling search engines that H2 -> main content is very helpful and that your next title underneath on the first widget is less important.

    I notice on yoast.com he has made his widgets H2. I also notice on studipress.com that the H1 is placed not around the logo but on meaningful text. Then H2s are being used on major titles.

    It is tempting to change the registiration of widgets in functions.php to use H2 and try to filter out H2 on that screen reader text.

    Comments please on this.

    Yeah, I'd like to talk about this too. It is definitely not recommended for all of your titles to be on the same level.

    Has StudioPress considered: a) developing a plugin that enables heading syntax or, b) added a similar feature to Genesis widgets core?

    Seems very odd that this Frameworks has side-stepped the issue for so long...
