    I want to increase the tag cloud on a News Pro site. I opened the category-template-php expecting to see 'number=>45', but it says 'number=>0'.

    I changed to 75, but there is no change to the tag cloud. As below:

    `function wp_generate_tag_cloud( $tags, $args = '' ) {
    $defaults = array(
    'smallest' => 8, 'largest' => 22, 'unit' => 'pt', 'number' => 75,
    'format' => 'flat', 'separator' => "\n", 'orderby' => 'name', 'order' => 'ASC',
    'topic_count_text' => null, 'topic_count_text_callback' => null,
    'topic_count_scale_callback' => 'default_topic_count_scale', 'filter' => 1,

    News Pro doesn't come with a category.php template.... so what are you editing?

    Actually, category-template.php is in the wp-includes for the core install, and you definitely don't want to make any changes there. EVER. Next time WordPress updates, those changes will be gone.

    Read here on how to properly make the changes you're after: http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_tag_cloud
