    Before changing to Genesis, we were able to upload images, then to post at the proper size.

    set image size of a specific set 1024 x1024 300 x 300 ect.
    As of now images, when placed in a post, they default to the image size not the Setting Size.
    (Setting > Media > thumbnail, medium, large )
    Even Feature image size does not respond (Genesis > Content Archives > Thumbnail setting.

    any recommendations?

    Did you run the regenerate thumbnails plugin after you changed the image sizes in your media settings?

    When you add them to your posts, do you set the image size to display via your attachment settings?
