Hey all,
I'm looking to showcase my paintings on a wp site. I already have a genesis and the beautiful theme. I'm open to buying a new theme as well. I was looking at the photography themes and I like their clean/bare look but they don't appear to display images the way I need them to.
Ideally I'm looking to have an image gallery(s) based on subjects / tagging. This could be on a single page or on multiple pages.
An example of subjects: still life, landscape, etc..It's important that the gallery doesn't crop for thumbnails. so I think I'm looking for more of a "masonry" type of alignment.
I was hoping to have information about the availability of each work of art too: "sold" or "available... contact for more information" and/or "prints available" (link to commerce page) - that sort of thing.
Anybody have any advice on a good plugin(s) or some advice on how to achieve this. Thanks
Your best bet would be to research photography or image plugins in the WordPress plugin repository or search Google. It's best that you do that so you can evaluate what you find to see if they will meet your needs.
