Hello, Sir, I want to learn, how to set homepage background image slider instead of fixed image in altitude pro theme and change text for each image slide
There is no background image in Altitude Pro, only background images for image sections.
Dear Brad, this local site trying to build it by altitude pro theme, and learning about genesis theme setup. I just need to set a background (full width) image slider in my homepage. i will be very pleased to you if you teach me or give me the code and where to up.
Which element? The entire front page? The body or another element?
Have you tried a plugin like this https://wordpress.org/plugins/responsive-full-width-background-slider/
Otherwise, i suggest you look at Soliloquy.
You can use any genesis hook to add it to any page. Example :
function soliloquy_slider_header() { if ( function_exists( 'soliloquy_slider' ) ) soliloquy_slider( '88' ); } add_action('genesis_after_header', 'soliloquy_slider_header');Swap out 88 to match the id of your slider.
You can add the slider shortcode to a text or HTML widget in the front page 1 widget area. Then use CSS to display full width.
I put genesis responsive slider in genesis front page 1 widget area. but the but the sideshow does not come in full width. I want to show up this slide show (front page 1 widget area) in my all pages as a background slide
