    I have searched high and low for padding, margins and the like, trying to find out where this 7px white space separating the image (which is placed in functions.php with code from Sridhar Katakam) from the primary navigation bar in this Focus Pro site.

    The header image I created in Photoshop is 1140x300px. When I look at source, it says that header.site-header is 1140x307 and includes this white space. Is the header image being made to fit into a space and then doesn't have enough height to cover the white background?

    Please help!

    Hi Liz,

    just add margin-top: -7px; to around line 1143 of the style.css.

    It should look like this:

    nav-primary {
        background-color: #FFFF79;
        margin-top: -7px;
    }
