Hi. I am a tech newbie and I would like to make my logo in the top left hand corner larger and to move it lower. I am unsure what codes I need to change and if I need to change it in the .php file, the .css file, BOTH and if anything needs to be fixed for the mobile responsiveness. My site is http://www.accordingtomichael.com.

    Thank you for your help.

Unfortunately since your logo is an actual image and not live text you cannot make it bigger without compromising the quality of the logo.
If you have the original file that your logo was created in you need to increase the size of it in the program that it was created in (i.e. photoshop or illustrator).

Hi Liz. Thank you for your reply. I do have the original and it's pretty big. However, the Design Palette Pro forces me to make the image smaller to fit into their sizing requirements. Once I upload a larger logo, how can I override the Design Palette Pro's settings? Thanks for your help.

Hi Jennifer, ok so I just realized that your using the Design Palette Pro plugin on your Executive Pro child theme. So supposedly according to that plugin making changes like this shouldn't involve you having to write, edit or work with any coding.
I'm not familiar with that plugin so it's hard for me to offer advice without looking at your dashboard/plugin settings.
Have you looked in the Header settings to see if there is a place to increase the header size?

If you want I can give you the website of a guy who does Genesis Tweaks for a pretty good price. It's usually $20 per tweak.
If you're interested let me know and I'll message his info to you.

Hi. The DPP won't let me get it any larger. I have already emailed them and asked them for help and it was a no-go.

I would love the guy's website. Please send it on over. Thank you very much!!!!

I made a change once to a php file and it took down the whole site so I am afraid to do it again since I am new at this.

    Thanks.

Hi, I too have from time to time some Genesis tweaks needing attention. Please have your guy get in touch with me.

    Cheers.
