    Hi, I am using Generate Child Theme.

    In the homepage, how can I make it display the whole image of the post instead of just showing the center part?

    Here is my site

    Your #content width is 570px and your image is 600px. So you can either change the width of #content, which would mean changing other column or wrap widths, or make your images 570px wide.

    You can add a new image size to your child themes functions.php file:

    add_image_size ( ‘custom’, 570, 285, TRUE );

    Then select that for your featured posts images on the home page widgets for your posts.

    I think you misunderstand my meaning.

    I want the featured image to become square. Can I do that?

    There is no change for the featured image height although I change the below code:

    /** Add image sizes */
    add_image_size( 'featured', 610, <del>170</del> 610, TRUE );
    add_image_size( 'grid', 290, 130, TRUE );

    I tested this and it works.

    add_image_size ( ‘custom’, 610, 610, TRUE );

    And select it from the drop down for display feature image in Genesis Content Archives.

    I try this and only the content changed.

    Can I have it displaying 610*610 image at the homepage?
