My homepage is currently showing the first X characters of my post as the summary for each post. I have a yoast plugin that helps me change what snippet the search engines display - is there a way I can control what snippet shows up in the summaries on my homepage in a similar way rather than having it be the first X characters in the post? Thank you.

You can add unique content to the excerpts box on any edit post screen and then choose the excerpts from the Genesis > Theme Settings > Content Archive settings.

Thanks Brad. I don't see an excerpt box on my Edit Post page. Right below the main text box for the post I have options for Layout Settings and Scripts. I also have some options from my Yoast SEO plugin that allow me to change the snippet for search engines. I ran a word search for the word excerpts just in case I was having a blind bat moment. Where would I find the excerpts box you're talking about?

Check screen options top right hand corner of the edit screen.
