Why do you you want to change the site title tag? Keeping the H1 is important for SEO.

More than one H1 tag is bad SEO and Page/Post titles should be H1.

Yes, I agree. I have a couple of client websites that run Infinity Pro, there's only one H1 per page.

So where do I change the site title from H1 to another tag and change page, post, front page, and a few others to H1? Is this done in the functions.php, and if so, where? Thanks.

Post page titles are H1 out of the box. There's nothing to change.

The framework provides proper SEO out of the box.

If you want to change something that works our of the box, dig through the code, find the right filter and add a new filter in functions.php.

Victor, I just learned from inspecting after someone pointed me in the right direction, tags change as needed per page. Site-title is H1 on homepage only and <p> on all other pages. H1's everywhere else as expected. Now I understand why it's hard coded. Brilliant, of course, nothing less from StudioPress.

Thank you for your time and patience.
