    Hi,

I am using eleven40 theme where the default colour for header and footer is black. Is this default colour due to image or due to colouring ? How can change default colour of both the areas from black to blue ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated !!

You know there's a color style option at Genesis > Theme Settings which is blue. Or you can upload an image to replace the file in your child themes images folder.

You can upload a blue image for the footer to your child themes images folder and replace the default footer image named footer-widgets.

Thanks a lot for the reply.

I am using blue color style options for my theme ( eleven40) . But the header and footer color for this option is black by default.

I was able to change footer color by replacing the default footer image named footer-widgets.

I am not able to make it out as to which image i should replace for changing header color.

You'd need to change the logo image and you could also change the logo texture
