    Hi,
on my single posts the featured image generally is near the top, and I don't want to see the same image twice on the screen. So I want to hide featured images on single posts.
I tried several plugins for that - one is named "Hide Featured Image" - but they don't work. They were not especially for Genesis, so there might be some code prevent their functioning.
Can anybody here give me the right code or plugin for this hiding featured images? (I always set them, because I like them to see even as thumbnails on post-lists.)

    kind regards
    Rainer

EDIT// I also tried the solution from Brad Dalton. But something is preventing the code from doing its job.

Please mark this as resolved as the code you linked to above for the checkbox does work however after inspecting your theme code i discovered you also had another code snippet in your functions file which was duplicating the image and required removal.
