    Hi,

I have just learned that Studio press with hamburger menu all load the normal menu before the hamburger.

If you don't know what I mean, check the pictures:

    1. first load
    2. hamburger takes over

I find it a rather ugly experience for mobile users.

How do you guys deal with it?

    Isn't the same for everyone?

    It's Magazine Pro.

The way the support replied (awesome support BTW) it sounded like it was normal for any Studio Press.

Below is the link, you need to be on mobile and go from page to post (look at the menu and you will notice the desktop menu loads first and only later the hamburger takes over)

That's the way its coded however you can modify the code so it loads the responsive toggle menu at every screen width.

    Yeah, unluckily.

Any idea how to change that?

I used to have a plugin called "mobile menu", it's really great if you want to have a very thing header.
But it's PHP 5.1 and I moved to 7.1 (plus it's good to have fewer plugins).
