    Hi there,
    I'm creating a new website and I'm using the Metro Pro theme.

    In the theme settings, I've chosen full page layout.

    I want the homepage to be a blog style page, full width, but it is showing the Primary Sidebar.

    My questions are:

    1) Is it possible to remove the Primary Sidebar? And if so, how do I do it?

    2) If I remove it, will there be a ton of blank white space to the right where the sidebar should be or will the Featured Blog Post go full width?

    I really appreciate any help that anyone can give me.

    Thank you in advance.

    Remove the following line of PHP code from your front-page.php file

    add_filter( 'genesis_pre_get_option_site_layout', '__genesis_return_content_sidebar' );

    And replace it with this:

    add_filter( 'genesis_pre_get_option_site_layout', '__genesis_return_full_width_content' );
