I would like to change the default image size settings for Content Archives? In eleven40-Pro, they are all square at 1024 x 1024 (Large), 300 x 300 (Medium), or 150 x 150 (Thumbnail). I'd like to set those to rectangular aspect ratios.
if you check your functions.php file then you'll get following line
add_image_size( 'grid-featured', 270, 100, TRUE );
You can add new image size like this (add this new line under the above line)
add_image_size( 'new-image', 640, 320, TRUE );
Then go to Dashboard->Genesis->Theme Settings->Content Archives section and chose the "new-image" from drop down. Then you'll get new size for your images. You should regenerate the thumbnail again based on this new size. You can use Force Regenerate Thumbnail plugin.
Thanks Genwrock. So how does 270 and 100 correspond to the square dimensions of 1024, 300, and 150? I also don't understand how 640 and 320 correspond to rectangular dimensions. Can you clue me in on that?
Ah. OK "640 and 320" correspond to the image dimensions 640x320 for "new image." And to actually change the parameters for "large" and "medium," I just add "add_image_size( 'large', 1064, 768, TRUE );" etc. That's what I needed. Thanks!!
