I am using the generate theme on my site and I was wondering how can I remove the generate box itself and replace itwith a custom banner that I would make of the same size and width?

I found an example - http://charliepage.com/ - his site uses the generate theme and he has removed the generate box and replaced it with clickable banners.

I just want to have one large banner replacing the generate box area.

    Thanks in advance

Use the Genesis Simple Hooks plugin

If you only want it on the homepage, use a conditional tag otherwise just paste in the HTML for your banner in the hook location you want the banner to display.

Use the header width for your banner, any height is ok
