    Hi everyone,

    I am wondering if anyone could help with a problem I am having?  Due to the changes in WordPress, I cannot locate any up to date information on how to embed a third party (Youtube) video into a specific point in a blog post. I have seen that there are a number of plugins..would they do this?   I did click the add media, then video and a box came up..I added the URL..but all that happened was a highlighted link with the title that i entered appearing on the spot in the blog post, which didn't go anywhere or transform into the video. Thanks in advance..most grateful for any tips or suggestions, Mariah

    All you need to do is add the "link" to the post - in Text Mode. Grab it from Share on Youtube, then add the link. WP will transform it into a video.

    I was having a problem with embedding a Vimeo video directly in the post. I found that the vimeo code didn't include "https:" before "//player". When I manually added it, it worked!
