    Hi,

    I'm using the Magazine Mobile Response Theme and the Horizontal navbars background go completely across the website. I'd like to fix the width equal to the website and not have the color going beyond the site itself.

    But I'm stumped and can't figure out how to do that. Any ideas?

    Thank you,

    Ann

    Hi Ann,

    I'd love to help. If you'll post the URL of your site, I'll tell you where the code is that you need to change.

    Warmly,
    Jeni

    Hi - You can limit the width of the nav (and subnav) by using "max-width" and then centering (margin: 0 auto;) the element.

    SO... (working from the SudioPress demo site) this:
    `#nav {
    background-color: #111111;
    clear: both;
    overflow: hidden;
    }`

    could be changed to this:
    `#nav {
    background-color: #111111;
    clear: both;
    margin: 0 auto;
    max-width: 960px;
    overflow: hidden;
    }`

    I am having issues and no matter what I do, I can't seem to change the background of the primary navbar to background-color:#E7E3E0. A part of the navbar has changed color but there is a secion in the middle of the navbar that has turned white.

    Can't figure out how to change the entire navbar to #E7E3E0 without changing the color of the secondary navbar. I have the secondary nav the color I want.

    Anyone who can help with this I would appreciate it. I have worked on this for over 2 hours today and when I think I have it, I realize that I don't.

    Here is a link to the site I am working with.

    You can see what I am talking about for my navbar.

    Thanks

    Susan

    Hi @susanv - did you get that issue worked out? I checked your site, but I only see one navigation bar and it's the #E7E3E0 color. If you still need help, please let me know.
