    Hi Everyone,

I hope someone can help. I'm using the Genesis sample theme and using it as a starting point for the design I created for a client. So far it's woking out well but one of the design elements is a challenge for me, I'd like to know if anyones has thoughts on the approach or if someone has a better idea.

The website link is included in this post along with a screenshot embed on the site of what I'm trying to achieve.

I was thinking in order to achieve this I should hook a HTML/CSS/image before the Primary menu, except there is no hook location for before the Primary menu. There is a after header, I tried that but I needs to be inside the div of the Primary menu.

Any help with the code or a better idea is very much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

Did you want to add a ribbon to the nav menu?

Yes. I used a background image in .genesis-nav-menu to display a green line behind the menu items but I’m trying to figure out a way to push a piece of it off to the side. Using another background image in the parent .site-container doesn’t work once things get responsive.

The pic on this page shows the angled piece I’m trying to recreate
