I'm sure there is probably a hundred ways to do this but I'm looking to add a div on the same line horizontally as the logo but on the right side of the header area that has a small photo and phone number. Should I hook it into the genesis_site_title hook and float it right maybe?

*The menu would actually be up 'there' in that same spot but it's getting pushed down because it ran out of space, just fyi

    Thanks ahead of time!

Yes or you could try the header right widget area.

Or you could filter the nav menu

    Thanks!

The menu is already in the Header Right Widget Area, I tried putting that in there also but it gets complicated with the menu transitioning to two lines and then to the hamburg menu, so I didn't think that was the best way.

Or you could filter the nav menu

This is interesting so instead of using that area for search I could use it for my other content?

Depends what you mean by "that area"?

The code i linked to enables you to add content inline with the nav menu so it's something you may try.

The problem here seems to be the number nav menu items. You could add some to the drop down to reduce the width.

OH sorry for the confusion, I just meant that the nav bar already resides in the header right widget area. I think I'm actually going to add a second menu bar, so there isn't so many in the main nav...

I will try your code thank you!
