I have recently changed from an old studiopress theme (backcountry) to a new theme (minimum pro).

My homepage featured widget areas are in columns, however I want my homepage to look like the demo (http://my.studiopress.com/themes/minimum/#demo-full) with the social media icons displaying underneath the image. I have followed the setup instructions for the demo - however there is something in the code on my site that is making my featured area widgets display in vertical columns, rather than horizontal.

Please can someone explain how and where I can change this please?

The demo is using 4 copies of the Simple Social Icons, one for each social media site, set in its own widget area. You are using one widget for all of your sites. This is posted on the theme's instruction page:

Each of the four widget areas utilize a Simple Social Icons widget configured to show a single Social Icon and a text widget with a text link.

Thank you - I feel silly, that was very simple!
