    Would like to have two background colors in the same homepage widget section, each one covering half the width. A brute approach could be to create an 'image' with the 2 colors and load it. Is there a more elegant way?

    For those that might be interested, I seem to have found a solution, at least for desktop views:

    .home-section-5{
    height: 100%;
    background: linear-gradient(90deg, #FFC0CB 50%, #00FFFF 50%);
    }
