    Have noticed some of my sites this has appeared on home page <link rel="next" href="http://www.exampledomain.com/page/2/" /> I'm sure this wasnt there before, perhaps an upgrade of Genesis or WordPress? - is there a way to prevent it appearing as without any posts it is a link to a home page copy. Which is very bad SEO.

    I did get rid of it on a site by setting a blank static page as the home page - the widget areas remained, is there another way? Many thanks

    Add this to functions.php:

    remove_action( 'wp_head', 'genesis_paged_rel' );
