I find myself in a bit of a pickle... I purchased the Genesis Framework (left Thesis), installed it quite some time ago, but I never setup a child theme and I've been using the framework alone. It's been awesome, but I'd afraid to update it...
Q: Is there anyway I could continue to use the Framework as my main theme or port my framework's CSS to another child theme?
Assuming you've only included a few css tweaks and functions, just copy those changes to temporary files or copy the whole files. Install a child theme first then apply your changes to the child theme. You could just use the whole CSS from your current genesis in the child theme, it's not going to matter.
Then once it looks the same update Genesis.
Thanks for the info! I'll give that a shot.
