    site:   http://www.celticmaverick.com

    I want a similar layout  -  2 columns - mainly a content site.

I am thinking of NEWS Theme:  http://demo.studiopress.com/news/

Not a coder, so will I be able to slot my banner logo into that top space  ..  and change colour of menu bar without touching code?

Found this site in the Showcase here:  http://www.mamavation.com/    -  and what she has on the home page below: Latest from the Blog  would be perfect for me  .. also the way the comments are presented  ... even has my colours  -  Can I achieve these effects from the dashboard.

That site is built on the Corporate theme.

    Adding Banner logo is simple.

Changing color of menu bar is pretty easy.

The news theme is more flexible than the Corporate theme and offers more page templates.

You can easily add different widgets to your homepage from the widgets area.

Thanks Brad  -  It is featured under NEWS Theme here:  http://www.studiopress.com/theme/news-2/page/2

Would you recommend News or Corporate to me?     Thanks.

I think News is better for blogging whereas Corporate is better for a company, product/service.

Once you own Genesis, its really easy to change themes without any problems
