    I'm trying to grasp the hooks and other tasks to modify a theme. I've worked with several Genesis themes but minimal customizations. I'm using Genesis Sample Theme. My client wants the header modified so the logo is centered with a widget on the right side and other one on the left side. I tried to add some code from "Position Header Right Widget In Genesis" and "How to Center the Genesis Theme Logo Image" to no avail. It seems that the .site-header is either full width with the right/left widgets wrapping below, or if I make the .site-header 30% width, it floats left even when the style is float:none!important;

    I'm ready to start over either with another theme or with the same one fresh since I've tweaked this one so much I'm not sure what will work.

    My question is, is there a tutorial or snippet that has the left/right widget and centered logo? Or should I wipe out the header and just create 3 div's and skip trying to make it conform with Genesis? Any suggestions are welcomed.

    You mean something like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ftQvvHSOiZ8

    What i did was remove the header and rebuild it. You can grab all the code out of genesis and modify it so you have 2 widgets and a logo.
