I am having problems with a live site.
1/ Whatever I do I cannot stop the header text from overlaying the custom header. I cannot uncheck the “show header text with your image”: it keeps returning to being checked.
2/ The custom header is set at 240px in the css.style file and in functions.php, but on Firebug says it is set at 110px.
I am trying to quickly set my site to resembling the test site:
3/ I also cannot reproduce the colored content box on the test site.
I deactivated the Genesis Simple Headers plug in and that has stopped the text-overlay problem. But it was still not showing the header completely.
I then realised I had not deactivated all the plugins. I did so, and the header worked.
BUT the plug-in causing the problem is the W3 Total Cache: my most vital plugin along with Joost's WordPress SEO.
It is the problem: the colored content box and header are now looking as I intended. What can be done?
