    I have built a site where I removed the logo on the home page of the site but we are showing it on the rest of the site. Thefront page just starts with the header menu and then a big blue logo/picture right there. I had originally closed up any white space that was showing but now if you look at the front page you can still see some white space... on Chrome it is minimal, but on other browsers it is bigger.

    I am not sure what I need to do to close that space up, I thought I had it closed but it isn't. Can someone take a look and let me know, also let me know why it is showing a bigger space on mobile and certain other browsers? Thank you in advance. URL is included and you will see what I mean at top of page. I am using the Pretty Creative theme from genesis. Thanks everyone.

    I was able to get the effect you're looking for by adding the following code to styles.css. Your site appears to be using a different style sheet for some reason. I don't see any styles loading form styles.css. If you add this to the same stylesheet that's loading all your other style, just after the styles for .site-header, then it should do the trick without the need of !important. Otherwise you can add it to the themes style.css file exactly as you see it below.

    .home .site-header {
        min-height: 0px !important;
        max-height: 0px;
    }

    HI @hipstershaun,

    Okay, so I added that in a couple different ways but nothing is working. I am a little lost here.... what stylesheet would the site be pulling from? Why would the styles from the style.css not be loading? I am entering all the styles and changes into the style.css for Pretty Creative child theme.

    I guess I am just not sure what other stylesheet it would be loading and why it would not be loading it's own stylesheet? Any more help or suggestions or where to look is appreciated.... I am just not sure where to look regarding another stylesheet loading and why?

    I haven't logged in for a while so didn't see your followup. It looks like you got it worked out. What made the difference?

    It was a cache issue along with another plugin. I got it worked out.
