Brand new install of Executive Pro. I've uploaded a header logo via Appearance >> Header but the logo does not display. Nothing displays above the primary navigation. I have not edited the CSS. What else am I missing?

Add a logo header with a link

seems like others have the very same problem. Why is such a basic function applying logo to header broken?

I fixed it with this but wondering if I have to do this everytime the theme is updated? such as when this problem is fixed?

StudioPress themes, except for Genesis, are rarely updated, and if they are, you can apply the changes manually and avoid overwriting your modifications. And I'm pretty sure that StudioPress doesn't see what you've described as a problem, so I doubt that they're going to be fixing anything related to the logo anytime soon.
