    I have a site - http://socialprocurementaustralasia.com/ - where if I put the site title 'Social Procurement Australasia' into Google or Yahoo search it ranks very low. However, using the site title 'Social Procurement Australasia' in Bing I see the ranking at the top of the first page. As far as I can tell all the settings in the head of my site are correct and I am using Yoast's SEO plugin for optimisation.

    I am also using Dynamik Gen as the child theme and have a home page composed of widgets.

    The site went live four weeks ago. In Google's Webmaster Tools I have a sitemap. The crawl stats shows the site is being crawled, BUT in Index Status the total indexed figure is showing zero.

    I have looked at this for hours and found nothing that may explain such a low ranking in Google. It may well be staring me in the face. I am puzzled as all my other sites rank at number 1 when I search using the site title.

    Does anyone have any insight into why this is happening? Any thoughts would be deeply appreciated. Thanks.

    I think Google Webmaster forums are the best place for these types of questions unless its related to design,

    Google has updated thier algorithms with major changes over the last 18 months and are very careful of which sites they rank in thier index. Bing has such little market share and clearly uses a different algorithm.

    It may be just a question of time. I am seeing a few pages of your site indexed in google already.

    If you are using the widgetized custom page for your front page and you are also using the Yoast SEO sitemap to submit your site to Google, your main site (www.domain.com) does not get included in the sitemaps and never gets submitted. You either need to use a static page as your front page or use another sitemap generator. I learned that the hard way...

    Thank you for all your replies. I did not realise that the front page using Yoast's sitemap is not submitted. I will use an alternative. Thanks so much again.
